Daflon 500 mg (micronized purified flavonoid fraction with diosmin 450 mg/hesperidin 50 mg per tablet) is dosed based on whether hemorrhoids are chronic or an acute hemorrhoidal attack.[1]

Chronic hemorrhoids dosing

For chronic hemorrhoids, the usual dose is 2 tablets daily given in two divided doses (morning and evening) at mealtimes.[1]

Acute hemorrhoidal attack dosing

For acute hemorrhoidal attacks, the dose is 6 tablets daily in 3 divided doses for 3 to 4 days, followed by 4 tablets daily in 2 divided doses.[1]

Maximum duration guidance
