Oral Fluid Intake for Dengue Without Warning Signs

Abundant oral hydration is recommended for dengue patients who can drink and do not have warning signs. [1]

Conversion From 1,800–2,000 mL to 240 mL Glasses

  • 1,800 mL/day ÷ 240 mL/glass = 7.5 glasses, so 8 glasses/day are needed to meet at least 1,800 mL/day.
  • 2,000 mL/day ÷ 240 mL/glass = 8.33 glasses, so 9 glasses/day are needed to meet up to 2,000 mL/day.
